NOTES
This requires someone who is unusually capable and competent. It would be more than many would be able to deal with.
Pros
This requires someone who is unusually capable and competent. It would be more than many would be able to deal with.
Pros
- Good for more than just one year - maybe as many as 3 years
- Multiple doses in one vial (no need for multiple bulky injector units with only 1 dose in each one)
- If more than 1 or 2 typical doses are needed, this could be life-saving beyond typical injectors
- Cheap: this is the least expensive epi option there is, especially when it doesn't expire for years
- If cost makes other options non-options, this may be the only option
- Multiple PEpi packs can be obtained and kept in different locations to make it more available
- More complicated than many may be willing or able to deal with
- Requires practice to be able to use quickly
